Projects
Gas Well Pads and Gas Compressors Sites: SetUp GPS control,
build line work files and developed 3d TIN's and Models for efficient
grading and use with Topcon and Trimble 3D Machine control
on gas well pads and gas compressor sites for northern
Pennsylvania. Clients include Southwestern Energy, Chesapeake
Energy, and Williams Energy. The models have improved production
by over 20% with stakeless grading techniques.
Hardscrabble Wind
Turbines: Field staking, layout,
mapping and as-built surveys for 37 wind turbines, 25 miles of new
road and 22 miles of collection line. Clients include Iberdrola
Renewables, Mortenson Construction, Borneke Construction, Dyer
Construction via Cornerstone Land
Surveyors
.
Verizon Wireless:
Created digital photo simulations for proposed cell towers to be presented during permitting process. Use digital photographic equipment, GPS, and 3D CAD to develop accurate and realistic simulations of cell towers on hill sides, hidden in silos, water towers, and on roof tops.
See tower renderings.
Hualalai Village, Hawaii:
Developed grading plan for 100± acres subdivision. Site required a balance of excavation quantities with many roads near maximum slope of 20%. Also containing ADA accessible parking, ramps and paved paths. This project involved training and CAD support, plus coordination with Architects, engineers and designers in Illinois, California and Hawaii.

Interstate 89 from St. Albans - Swanton, Vermont:
Project required reconstruction of existing roadway and subbase, without changing bridges. Coordinated with VTRANS using InRoads linear regression tools to establish as-built horizontal and vertical alignments for 13 miles of highway. Met required tolerances of 0.5' horizontal on roadway and 0.2' tolerances on bridges.
Panama Canal
Helped to develop alternative bypass near the Pacific entrance around the locks at Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Lake. Responsible for developing alignments, cross-sections, profiles, quantity take-offs, evaluation drawings, and
presentations.
Utica Rome Expressway
New York State Department of Transportation. Region 2, Utica, New York. 3.5 miles of new highway construction. Responsibilities included the creation of DTM for earthwork quantities. Built a full wire frame model of entire project for an interim earthwork phase, which included 3m surcharge in wetland areas. Also created full wire frame model, including ramps, intersections and three bridges for final design. This project included a unique coordination with sub consultant whom designed the open ditch drainage system that was merged into the DTM.

Boyabat Dam, Turkey
(1999) 200m x 300m Hydro Electric Dam in Turkey for review by the International Administry of Power. Project included the creation of DTM's for alluvium excavation, rock excavation and concrete volumes exceed 2.3 million cubic meters. The wire frame model was rendered to create quick vision and video simulations of finished dam in relationship to existing fault lines.
Rome High School, Rome, New York
Developed proposed DTM of new building location with
access roads, parking lots, retention ponds, running track and ball
fields. This DTM aiding in creating a balance of cut and fill for this
project.
